Spinach smoothie
Recipe makes about 2 glasses
I love a good skyr smoothie, and I first tried this one a long time ago and have made many variations of it since. This version is filling and full of energy, and I highly recommend giving it a try!
Ingredients:
- 300 g Ísey vanilla skyr
- 3 handfuls of spinach
- 250 ml vanilla drink (or low-fat milk)
- 1 banana
- 6–8 dates
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- Ice cubes
- 1–2 tsp spirulina powder + extra for the sides of the glass
Instructions:
- Put everything into a blender and blend well.
- For fun, decorate the inside of the glass with a little skyr and spirulina powder before pouring in the drink.
- Enjoy while the drink is cold.
